What is the eLearning Café?
The eLearning Café is an active, dynamic website designed to enhance student success by providing access to high quality online academic and study skills resources. Initially created for students enrolled in eCampusAlberta courses, the site expands upon traditional resources which may be available to on-campus students but are typically less accessible to online learners. The resources focus primarily on academic skills in the areas of writing, study, and elearning skills as well as some additional materials related to mathematics and science.
The eLearning Café was developed in 2010 by the Learning Café and Educational Enhancement Team at Lethbridge College in partnership with eCampusAlberta through the 2006/07 Learner Support Services Fund.
The Learning Café, Lethbridge College's learning assistance centre, enhances learner success and empowers learners to develop skills, strategies, and behaviours that promote independent learning. The diverse learning styles, skill levels, and needs of the student population are addressed through individualized consultation and courses, small group workshops, classroom presentations, and advice to faculty.
